• Description: The Southern Humboldt Services Center provides a centralized, local access for many County services, and information and referral to County services not located in southern Humboldt County. We're also have resource information for other community services. The Southern Humboldt Services Center provides the following services: Social Services: TANF, Medi-Cal, GR eligibility and applications, food stamps. Public Health: WIC applications and voucher pickup, HIV testing, immunizations, travel shots, Senior Health screening clinics, communicable disease follow-up, health education and promotion, home visits. Mental Health: Children's counseling on Tuesday and Friday, Adult counseling on Friday. Walk-in clinics are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month for assessment and medication review.
